Privacy policy

An English reading version is being prepared; until it is published, the overview below tells you the essentials and the German page gives you the complete detail. Where your data is held: the app, the database, the sign-in service, all uploaded files and our analytics run on servers operated by Strato GmbH in Germany.
Third parties. Four functions send data beyond those servers, and only those four:

Analytics: we use Umami, self-hosted on our own server. No cookies, no identifiers on your device, no user profiles, no Google Analytics — and therefore no consent banner. Statistics are deleted after 12 months.
Health-related details: allergies, intolerances and dietary habits in your crew profile are special categories under Art. 9(1) GDPR. Those fields are voluntary; by filling them in you consent to their processing and to their visibility within your trips, and you can withdraw that at any time by clearing them.
Your rights: access, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability and objection, plus the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority for us is the Unabhängiges Landeszentrum für Datenschutz Schleswig-Holstein (ULD), Holstenstraße 98, 24103 Kiel.
Uploaded files are not included in a separate backup — please keep your own copies.
